Tobacco Valley Direct Action, a loose coalition of liberals, is hosting a highway cleanup this coming Saturday, April 22 - Earth Day. We adopted a section of Highway 37 from mile marker 61 to 63, located just north of the turnoff to Rexford.
Clean up starts at 1:00 p.m. near mile marker 61. Vests and bags will be supplied. Bring water bottles, wear sturdy boots or shoes, work gloves and your favorite tool for picking things up without bending over. Don't forget your hat and/or some sunscreen!
Please let us know if you plan to be there, so we know how many vests to obtain from the highway dept. If you're not too filthy afterward, we can get food and refreshments at the Frontier!
